What to expect
We pick up all of our guests at the designated area at the cruise ship terminal. We start the tour exactly one hour after the ship has docked once all of our guests have come off the ship. From there we go straight to the Viewpoint 800 feet above sea level where we can see most of the island, here is where the guests can do some souvenir shopping and take some pictures. You will have the option of customizing your tour as we driving through the island. You can add any of the following activities which are paid separately; Monkey and Sloth Park, here you will have a wonderful experience and see the monkeys, macaws, sloths and much more. At West End beach you can choose to relax at the Gelato Store and enjoy a refreshing ice-cream at the beach, or go Snorkeling off a boat or off the beach.
At West End Beach we will visit the Chocolate Factory for some free samples and the rum cake factory for some free samples as well. This is also a great spot to try some good authentic local food. Then we will head towards West Bay Hills and stop at the light house where we will take pictures of the Viewpoint which exhibits the entire Island, then cross the street and enjoy some delicious rum cake and rum samples at the Roatan Rum Company. From here you will have the option of going for some lunch or spending the rest of the day at West Bay Beach. West Bay Beach has many resorts you can choose from. They all have their own fees to enter. Once inside the resort you will have access to beach chairs, wifi, showers, restrooms and the best beach in Roatan. We will head back to port 2 hours before the ship leaves and stop at the Giant Roatan sign on our way back to the ship.
