This course on coffee welcomes you, where we will learn how to roast, grind, and filter coffee for enjoying it at home. If you're a coffee lover, you know that there are many different ways to prepare and enjoy it, but in this course, we will focus on coffee preparation through roasting, grinding, and filtering. However, coffee has been an important part of the culture and history of many other countries, including Mexico and the ancient Mayan cultures. Each participant will receive a portion of green coffee beans. Green coffee beans are used for the roasting process, during which they acquire their characteristic brown color and develop the flavors and aromas that we associate with roasted coffee. With special utensils, we will roast our own coffee and learn about the importance of roasting. We will also learn about coffee grinding, from how to grind the beans to how to choose the coarseness of the grind to achieve the desired flavor.
