    Carla is an amazing guide who has no problems adapting to the needs of her patrons. It is obvious that she has cultivated friendships with local purveyors over many years, and, as her guest, you will reap the benefits of these friendships. Carla not only brings you into these delightful 100+ year old businesses, but also gives a wonderful history lesson of the area and shows you things that you would never have noticed otherwise. The desserts are all phenomenal, and as others have mentioned, you will be extremely full at the end despite the relatively small portions at each shop. Also, don't be worried if you have any dietary restrictions, as Carla is more than willing to adapt the tour. In my case, my husband has Celiac disease, and she provided numerous homemade gluten free treats so he wouldn't be left out of any tasting; plus she is a pastry chef, so she knows her stuff! When (not if) I come back to Barcelona, I will 100% book another tour with Carla!

    My wife and I had an amazing time with Carla. She is a lovely, wonderful, and knowledgeable local guide of Barcelona! She was attentive to all party members, gave us water and a great variety of unique treats, and catered to individual interests. We would 100% do this tour again. It was a highlight of our trip to Barcelona! We would recommend you do this tour at the beginning of your trip so that you can try her restaurant recommendations. Thank you, Carla!

    We all (13 of us from 9 yo to 75 yo) enjoyed our 4pm (till 7pm) Chocolate tour with Carla. Not only was it delicious but we also got to see a lot of Barcelona and learn its history. Carla is an animated guide who clearly loves what she does. With a large group she paid attention to individual needs (needing to rest, lactose intolerance, vegetarians) and made everyone feel included and ensure they were enjoying. You will be full by the end! Carla also does tapas and gastronomy tours which I’m sure she’d be excellent at. Thanks for an awesome afternoon in Barcelona!

    A fantastic primer of not just the Chocolate scene but also the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. Carla was fun and engaging, sharing so much of the history of the area and it merchants. We thought the Churros was a great add in to the tour and seeing how cocoa is ground was very interesting. We would recommend the tour to others visiting the city and do it early in your stay.
