Bran Castle, commonly known as Dracula's Castle, is a historic fortress located near the town of Bran, close to the city of Brasov ( 35 min drive) Perched atop a dramatic hill, the castle offers a pitoresque view of the surrounding landscape, Built in the 14th century, it served both, as a fortress to defend against invassions and as a customs point betweenTransylvania and Wallachia.
