    Like others we did some research before selecting DiveCarib and the experience we had was great. We were a family with 2 divers and 2 snorkelers and Leigh and the team made sure we all got the best of the experience. The team was very knowledgeable and knew the dive spots very well. Conditions were not great as a tropical storm had just passed but the dive and snorkel experience was top notch. We all felt safe, informed and enjoyed the day immensely- never felt rushed as some tours do. Very enjoyable and we would recommend it highly.

    My husband and I had a great experience with Dive Carib last week. We made 11 dives each over the course of 6 days and found their team consistently professional, customer-service focused, safety-aware, knowledgeable, and good-natured. Really nice small group diving. When I had a problem with the regulator I brought, they quickly swapped it out with a back-up so i didn't have to miss a dive. They also stowed our personal gear for us each night and had it already on the boat for us the next morning. We highly recommend Dive Carib and will definitely book our diving with them when we return to Antigua!!

    Leigh and Louis are ideal dive masters - knowledgeable, calm and reassuring. I'm an experienced diver, but joined a dive with a class of newly certified divers as that is what aligned with my schedule, so the dives were all really easy and not particularly exciting for me. What I did appreciate is the level of patience and very thorough explanation and preparation the guys gave the new divers, essential in building confidence in early days. Some of the equipment is very well used to the point of being overly tired - wetsuits were threadbare and tattered in spots, upholstery on the boat was shredded. The important stuff - regulators and tanks- all worked flawlessly. Will dive here again.

    Incredible experience! The team at Dive Carib are so supportive, friendly and really experienced. I've now gone on to do my open water and hopefully the advanced course is next! Would highly recommend this dive centre. Both Louis and Leigh got me through some anxiety about diving, so if you're feeling nervous about starting out or a first dive, I can assure you you're in great hands. And there's plenty to see out there on the reef, including: nurse shark, puffer fish, rays and plenty of fish.

    The crew was great. Everyone was friendly and attentive. The dive was awesome, lots of critters and good conditions. Our guide pointed out a lot of things I would not have noticed on my own.

    What to expect

    Certified diver trips begin with an introduction to our facility and team, followed by a dive briefing covering all aspects of the trip. After the dive briefing we board the boat, and elaborate on specific points regarding equipment for divers using our rental equipment, before a short boat ride to the dive site. The boat ride is an experience in itself, with so much to see from the water, giving you another viewpoint to admire this beautiful Island. Upon arrival at the first dive site, divers kit up, and complete a pre-dive safety check, before entering the water. The cylinder type is aluminum S80 (11.2 litre) with a starting pressure of 3000 Psi (207 Bar); dive times are set at one hour, or a minimum end/surface pressure of 500 Psi (35 Bar). A divemaster, with extensive knowledge of the local underwater realm, guides all dives, and they will show you the beautiful marine life that Antigua has to offer. Take note, we have a strict no-touch, no-take, no-feeding policy. *Important* we require all certified divers who have not been diving for a period of two years or more to complete a refresher dive before joining our certified diver trips.
