    My family and I booked a night tour with Elias and were so pleased with the experience. This was our second tour with him. He is a knowledgeable and dedicated guide, well versed and in the flora and fauna. We experienced a rich diversity of night creatures.

    The tour was amazing, we saw Sloths, blue jean frogs, kaimans, butterflies, birds and many more! You could see how much the ecocenter cares about the environment and the tour guide told us so many fascinating facts, we also made super photos through the guides telescope!!

    Elias is a treasure. Our family, with a 9 year-old and a 6 year-old, met Elias for a private tour of the Ecocentro Danaus reserve near La Fortuna. Elias was friendly and warm, and an absolute expert on everything we encountered on the tour (and even some things that we didn’t encounter!). We enjoyed the tour so much, we booked a return night tour on-the-spot. It’s clear that Elias has a deep respect for the amazing plants and animals of Costa Rica. It was great to see our two young kids engaging with Elias, asking questions, helping find animals (with flashlights that Elias provided), and delighting in his many stories. We really appreciated his patience while helping our kids take pictures of the creatures we encountered. We had many great experiences in Costa Rica. Elias’ tours were a highlight and we feel super lucky to have met him.

    We had an amazing time on the night tour with Elias. He was extremely knowledgeable on all the wildlife in the area! He has an incredible eye for all the small creatures, showing us various animals that we would never have seen on our own! He even stayed an extra 15 minutes to try and find us some sloths! We found 2! This was one of our favorite activities in La Fortuna. Would definitely do this again!

    We had an amazing time here. Walter was so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. We saw everything from Red Eyed Tree Frogs, Poison Dart Frogs, Glass Frogs, Butterflies, Leaf Cutter Ants, a number of bugs (from a safe distance!) and finally a Whip Snake! We're not the best with spiders but this really wasn't a problem and we had a great time hunting around in the forest by torchlight - great fun, great guide, highly recommended.
