What you have read is true, A and C are the best tours - I did all four of them.
The companies will get you there and feed you. Don’t expect too much more, they are there to get their job done.
I did four tours while I was there, the places you go are amazing but the level of care from the operators seem impacted by their familiarity of the setting - it’s special to you, not to them after the thousandth time!

Got sick from lunch food on ship. The tour was fun, but be aware that there are DOZENS of other tour boats at each stop. El Nido Island hopping tours are very popular and very, VERY crowded.
I am recovering from my food poisoning. I am not saying to skip the tour. Best to bring your own food though

Buy when you get there. The price for tour C is 1400 + your eco fee and there are 5 stops not 3. There are lots of boats and places selling tour when you get there. Buy direct from your hotel. It's a lot cheaper.

Boat not too crowded, though we did wade in chest deep water to get on and off from the beach. Fair snorkelling, no pretty coral, but plenty fish. Really enjoyed the swim through caves of Cathedral beach, and hidden beach. Good lunch...well worth the money, just spent a nit too long in each place.
