We enjoyed the guide / driver and his willingness to get us to the two main sites and provide an overview. He answered all the questions and made sure we stayed on time. Although he provided a map, we would have been great if a bigger map was provided of Erice with key points marked.

We visited some truly spectacular sites and the weather was perfect to be able to see them all under beautiful blue skies. Segesta has an impressive temple to view, and an old theatre, while Erice has a castle and a view of the coastline that is marvellous to see.

The Temple complex at Segesta was really stunning, especially the gardens overlooking the Temple from the adjacent hill. Equally impressive was the incredible view from Erice towards the bay far below.

I am a history buff, and enjoy cultural tourism, so was pleased to find this tour to these two very different sites here in Sicily. The tour was well-paced, with plenty of time to experience and appreciate the temple at Segesta, and the castle at Erice. I also enjoyed the stroll through Erice to the restaurant (excellent) where we had lunch. Niccola's commentary was excellent. His manner was relaxed and calm, and he was attentive to the group's needs and comfort.

This tour was an add on for us before joining a larger tour starting in Palermo. We chose to take it because the larger tour was not going to take us to Erice and Segesta. My husband and I were the only Americans on the tour of nine but Niicolo , our guide, was very good with dividing his time between us and the Italian speaking group. We joined him for lunch at a wonderful restaurant where we tried two local dishes, fish couscous and a busiate pasta dish. Both dishes were delicious. After lunch we had some free time to walk around Erice before heading to the Trapani salt pans which was interesting. It was a long day but well worth it and because of the distance from Palermo we had a chance to rest on the way back to Palermo.

Tour of Segesta, Erice, and Trapani was thoroughly enjoyable. Our guide Nicola & bus driver Giacomo were excellent. We highly recommend this tour.

Way overpriced for what you get. On the post it shows that this is an English tour only.however tour guide had to speak on Spanish and Italian in addition to English Federico was good. Would have liked more time in Erice.

Erice and Sagesta Day trip was great. Our leader was Nicola, his English was great and we were able to talk about a wide variety of topics as we traveled. A nice way to get to know about Italian culture beyond just the sights that were scheduled. Ours was a small group trip but it ended up just the two of us. We were able to shorten our day a bit and still see the sights. Lunch with Nicola was a highlight! Thanks.

It was a really enjoyable trip. The tour leader Nicolo was amazing and provided great information and content on the bus journeys. It is a bit of a trek on the bus around north Sicily but well worth it. The temple at Segesta is amazing and Erice is a beautiful town. The restaurant we were recommended to eat at had meals ranging between €12-€18 which is a good price for the location (very touristy) and quality of food (it was excellent). The bus journey was really comfortable even though the roads are not the best. I had considered using public transport to get around but I’m thankful I didn’t because of the experience of hearing so much insight into the area and the people from the tour leader. I would highly recommend doing at least one tour while you’re in Sicily; Erice and Segesta is a good one to do as they aren’t as connected as the other sites.

This was my first group tour as a solo traveler, but Federico was a great host and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
