We'll begin our culinary adventure right in front of Dar Al Mouwatine, as marked on the map. From there, we’ll dive straight into the heart of local life—Essaouira’s bustling market. You'll shop just like a local, choosing the freshest ingredients from my friends at the butcher, vegetable stands, spice stalls, and pastry shops. It’s the perfect way to experience Moroccan culture from the inside out. You'll have the chance to select your preferred tagine ingredients—whether it's tender beef, flavorful lamb, juicy chicken, fresh fish, or a delicious vegetarian option. (If you'd like to cook with fish, just let me know in advance so I can have it ready for you.) Once our baskets are full, we’ll head to my home, where the magic begins. I’ll welcome you with traditional Moroccan mint tea, and together we’ll prepare and cook your tagine from scratch. You'll learn the secrets behind Morocco’s rich spices and slow-cooking techniques—all in a warm, homey setting. At the end, we’ll gather around the table and enjoy the fruits of our labor—sharing stories, flavors, and laughs. This is more than just a cooking class; it’s a cultural exchange, a feast, and a memory to take home with you.
