    I made the booking one day before for a full day trip to eswatini and to be dropped off at a hotel there. Same price 28500 metikal (US$420). The driver comes at 5.30am. Doesn't say a thing. I thought he was the driver and not the guide. A few minutes into the ride I ask him if he was the driver or the guide. He says he is the driver and guide. But has not said anything about our trip. So I texted the operator. They said he is the guide. I tried to make small talk and still he said nothing which made me disgusted why was I doing all the talking. The thing that really annoyed me was that as we crossed the border he changed Mozambique money into eswatini money. He did not tell me that I will not be able to use Mozambique money in eswatini. He did tell me to tell him if I wanted to stop at any gas station first a break but I didn't see any gas stations along the way. I needed coffee badly as I had woke up before 5.30am. Then as we crossed the border he starts his tourist guide spiel by which time I had no interest to talk to him anymore. He said precious little anyway. He knew nothing when I asked him. He drove us into a park that was supposed to be famous for hippos but there were none. That's where I realised I could not even buy coffee without S.A. rand or local money and there was a min spend on credit cards. At the subsequent sites he just stayed with the car and dia not accompany me. The so-called tour was done by 1pm. He did not offer to take any photos for me. He simply behaved as a driver not a tour guide. I guess most guides are fine but Castilo has a problem that really spoilt my day. The agency should have charged me less for giving me a driver instead of o guide as Castilo is really not one.
