    I had a great experience in Atami, thanks to Yuri, the guide, and this tour she perfectly organised. The tour started with some explanations, followed by the Geisha show. I was the only foreigner in the room. I could then make as many pictures as I wanted. I had the chance to exchange with Geishas in a complete private room, to listen to music and to play. I will never forget this.

    We really loved our Geisha experience. It was well-prepared and allowed us to learn and understand the culture waypes or standard tourist beyond stereoty info.     My girlfriend plus myself booked a private geisha experience with Curious Travel Japan and it was worth every minute! Yuri meet with us and gave us an introductory presentation of the history of the Geisha house in Atami and we were able to view a whole production by the geishas which included multiple songs, dancing, and more. Afterwards, we were able to have a private session with the Geisha where we were allowed to ask the Geisha questions about her career and play parlour games with her which were very fun! Overall, it's definitely worth checking out when in Japan🗾

    One of the best experiences I have ever had in Japan. It was wonderful. My guide Yuri was excellent, and I had an opportunity to get to know one of the Geishas, playing games, taking photos and having great fun. There is also a performance with all of the Geishas, which is a rare opportunity to witness, and all were happy for me to take their portraits. Atami is a great discovery, and it will not take you long to come down from Tokyo. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

    Upon arrival to the Atami Geigi Kenban (Geisha Union), our guide briefly explains the history of Atami and Geisha in Atami. After seated to the second floor section overlooking the stage, travelers are offered an English translated program and guides on areas to watch/enjoy during the Geisha dance performance.
