What to expect

You’ll be collected by coach at your chosen start point. Once everyone is onboard, accompanied by a representative, head northward and begin your ride along the coast, during which you'll be able to enjoy breathtaking scenery, including both sea and mountains. The first stop of the day is the medieval town of Benissa. Benissa is a traditional Spanish town that is steeped in history and remains little unchanged by time. Its maze of cobbled streets is lined with ancient buildings and whitewashed houses and the main town square has a church so big, that the locals call it a cathedral. Whilst in Benissa, the representative will take you to an 18th-century mansion which has been left unchanged as it was lived in, by its previous occupants and you really get the feeling of how they used to live back in the day. Next, you will head inland, passing through valleys of vineyards and orchards filled with almond and orange trees before arriving at caves that are believed to have been formed some 150 million years ago and where they have found traces of life dating back to over 50 thousand years ago. Entrance fee to the caves is not included but the representative will be able to offer you discounted entrance tickets for just 3€. Once you have had time to visit the caves, you will head eastwards to the coastal town of Moraira where you will have free time to wander, relax and enjoy the surroundings before making the return journey.  The representative will confirm the meeting point with you and time for returning back to Altea and Calpe. Arrive back at the hotel around 5:30pm.
