    The Q Train in first class was sensational. The private cabin was awesome and the five course meal paired with local wines and craft beer was fantastic

    Everything about our trip on the Q Train on 29 April was fantastic. The staff who greeted us were welcoming and our server Montana was knowledgeable, personable and a joy to meet. The first class compartment made us feel very special and provided a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the wonderful wildlife you see along the journey. The 5 course menu was superb. I would go back again just to have the creme brulee. If I could give 11/10 I would.

    This was a wonderful experience with virtually all local ingredients and amazing staff. Options are available to suit varying budgets and you won’t be left hungry. A step back in time.

    The Q Train is a unique experience, it was well worth doing the 1st class Dining. Now, if you just enjoy a slow ride to Queenscliff with the excellence of wonderful LOCAL produce, then this is something I’d recommend.

    This was fun! The train moved slowly so we had time to enjoy the countryside. The meal was sooooo much better than I imagined. The staff were gorgeous and helpful. It was relaxing, and we got a short time to stretch and stroll at Queenscliffe.

The train usually departs from, and returns to, Drysdale Station, just an easy 15-minute drive from Geelong. However, on select services The Q Train departs from, and returns to, the Queenscliff Railway Station. Never before has Australia seen a heritage rail line used for showcasing local food, wine, beer and cider. We’re inviting locals and visitors alike to come aboard our restored carriages and enjoy a gastronomical journey unlike anything else you have experienced. We are serving local produce on every journey from the comfort of our refurbished dining cars; providing every customer with a delicious rail journey, and unique views of Swan Bay and the Bellarine. Wine and dine in style with The Q Train.
