What to expect
Forest Park
From the Lower Macleay Trailhead, we'll enter the verdant wonderland of Forest Park. The park features over 70 miles of well-maintained trails for hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders. You won't believe you're still in the city limits!
Wildwood Trail
Much of our Forest Park hike will be along Portland's famous 30-mile Wildwood Trail (don't worry, we're only walking a few of 'em). The Wildwood Trail is the longest soft-surface hiking trail within a city in the U.S. - and it's all ours to enjoy!
Witch's Castle
We'll stop at the Witch's Castle, a.k.a. Stone House, and learn the storied and tragic history of this stunning landmark with roots dating back to the Oregon Trail.
Nestled atop Portland's scenic West Hills, the Pittock Mansion is a beacon of historical grandeur and architectural elegance. We'll stop at the mansion's meticulous grounds for a picnic of local goodies, restroom breaks, and Insta-worthy photo ops. The view of Mount Hood (Oregon's highest peak at 12,500 feet) behind the cityscape is breathtaking!
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
