What to expect
Madre de Dios Region
We will depart at 9:00 am, we will take a tour of the Madre river from God by boat, about an hour until we reach Our Lodge “AMAZON MOUNT LODGE” once We will do a walk of about 5 min. Until facilities, there we will begin the adventure: We will do a small walk on the Canopy Walk-Way, about 30 meters high, which will allow us to appreciate nature from the highest possible, we will also have a view panoramic view of the Madre de Dios River. From the platforms we will observe different species of birds, such as toucans, macaws, tangaras, orioles, will be an experience wonderful. Then we prepare for an activity of challenges about trees over 30 meters high, for this activity We will have an instructor guide who will give us a talk about how use the safety harness for the Zip-line, feeling the adrenaline when sliding through the trees. In the afternoon the challenge is to cross the Madre de Dios River in Kayak, for which we will have life jackets. Finally we will visit the "island of the monkeys", located opposite to our Lodge across the Madre de Dios River where we will find different species like the monkey family Capuchins, monks who live on the island. After the afternoon tour, we will return to the Puerto Maldonado city, at 5 or 5:30 pm Approximately we will arrive in the city. INCLUDES: interpretive guide, lunch, transportation (Airport- Lodge), boots.
