    Let me start by saying that this experience had a positive ending — the beginning of the tour, not so much. Here are the highlights: - Driver picks us up at 7:45 AM at the hotel. Then picked up two other groups at different hotels, absolutely normal. - We were then taking to a small parking lot off side of a main street. No explanation, no expectations on next steps. - We waited 30 minutes to jump into another van. - The driver didn’t introduce himself, nor did he tell us where we’re going or how long the drive was. We drove for about an hour to the bay. - At the Bay, we were handed off to another gentleman who didn’t introduce himself and just took us to side of a park. No one told us what we were doing, how long will be there, or what to expect next. - He then walked us across the street to where the boats docked. - Must have been about 200 people there - We waited 90 minutes for our boat. Everyone had already left on their tours. - Not once were we told why we were waiting so long. No explanation. - I had to ask the guy what was happening — first the boat was fueling then the boat broke down. - I emailed the tour company. Boat came shortly after. - The first stop at the natural pool was gorgeous. The tour guides didn’t really say much. We just spent time on our leisure. - All inclusive = only rum and coke. No beer. They only had two small bottles of water. - Second stop was Saona. Also beautiful. Tons of people, though. They provided lunch — buffet style. - We spent about 2 hours there. Then brought back to the bay on a catamaran. Party! Was also packed with people, but fun. - The tour agency owner found out about our experience and met us at the bay. He personally drove us back to Punta Cana (1 hour) and was very apologetic. I only wish Max, the owner, would have been present the entire time to avoid all the frustration. Three stars only because of the beautiful natural swimming pool and the beach. Besides Max, everyone else else was apathetic about the situation

    The island when you arrived should have pathways clears to avoid stepping on horse manure. The old palm tree that has been cut off, should be remove of tourists view. The Rest rooms in the catamaran were filty.

    Thanks to Max for all the support and guidance on the tour, the tour is unparallel as far as nature beaty and paradisic beaches. The food is good and the treat is professional. Totally recommended 100%

    We used So Fun DR Tours to visit Saona Island and I want to thank Max for helping us to organize and coordinate this wonderful trip. We were a group of 51 people and reserved the Catamaran "Capitan Gringo" for a private tour to Saona Island on June 28, 2023 from Punta Cana. Max coordinated the transfer from Hard Rock Punta Cana to Bayahibe (round trip) in a very comfortable bus, our lunch in a VIP section/restaurant in Saona, and the photographers for the trip. I defenetntly recommend So Fun D.R. Tours

    Pickups are always in the morning at nearby or distant hotels and apartments and also at any point where tourists are (Bavaro, Punta Cana, Fruiza, Macao Ubero Alto and more... The departure time will depend on the distance from the hotel, we will group in a starting point to go to Bayahibe where the port of embarkation is.From the Punta Cana Varon area where the guests are, it is one hour away to the port of embarkation, all the guests that will participate will have direct contact for the pick-up at each hotel. The transfer is made by the hotel bus to Bayahibe and in Bayahibe we will enjoy the excursion, boat, lunch, drinks, catamaran and more. Travelers will enjoy 8 hours of excursion between the pick-up, the natural pool, the beach and the party on the catamaran .
