    The best part wss the people on the trip. We got nothing that we paid for. We were not taken to Paquare, but some other river. We did not get a 5 hour rafting experience but a 2 hour experience. The food, both the breakfast and lunch was not as advertized. The reason given was that Paquare was high and not safe. While we appreciate safety. We should have been given a choice, A refund or reschedule. We felt were duped. It was very disappointing. That said the driver and tourguide were nicr and accomodating and tried to make the experience the best. I believed we are owed the experience ee actually paid for. I really cannot recommend this to anyone. But rather feel the need to caution them against this company.

    Exciting tour on Rio Pacuare. We had a pick up in Turrialba. The water in the river was challenging. It was the challenge we were looking for. We had a break on the river with great food. The place was clean and lovely. In the end you can have a shower and change your clothes to get dry again. They bring you back to the starting point.

    We had a great time rafting to and from Rios Lodge. Christopher was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. The river is beautiful, and the rapids are exciting but felt safe in the lowish waters of May. Wear sunscreen on your legs-- especially knees-- pack a towel for when you change after, and bring a waterproof camera.

    Fantastic rafting down the Pacuare River! Our trip was part of a tour that included a stay over midway at the Tropical River Lodge, which added a bit of relaxation to the excursion. When we went the day was hot and the water warm, so getting wet was part of the fun. Be prepared to get splashed alot. Follow the recommendations for what to wear, and you'll be fine. Our guide Ariane was great fun and always in control of the boat. We felt safe, even at the river's roughest. We'd do it again in a flash!

    Did the day river rafting trip. It was amazing and Christofer was THE BEST guide! He was Very knowledgeable and helpful in keeping us safe and having a good time.

    What to expect

    After picking you up early in the morning at your hotel in San José we headed to the first capital of the country, Cartago. After crossing through the center of this province we will pass the towns of Paraíso, Cervantes, Juan Viñas and Turrialba, the capital of rafting in Costa Rica. During this journey of approximately 2.5 hours we will have a typical breakfast before starting the adventure of the rapids class III and IV. Our team will be waiting for you at the well-known Finca 3X, where you will be given a safety briefing on the riverbank before venturing out on the 18 miles that They run along the Pacuare River. Passing the popular rapids of Huacas, Pele el Ojo and Maroons. The tour includes buffet lunch on the river, 5 hours of adventure on the river, breakfast typical, river guide, transportation to and from San José with guide, rafting equipment and safety kayak. At the end they will be able to change before heading towards San José again where they We will return to your hotel in San José around 6:00 pm. Items to bring: shorts, bathing suit, cap, sunscreen, shoes for water or tennis, complete clothing set and cloth.
