    The hike to the Boiling Lake was my first activity in Dominica. I had done some research, learned it was a big challenge, so I approached it with some trepidation tbh. I was lucky Junior became my guide by chance. He is an excellent professional, engaging, knowledgeable, very friendly and talkative. It was raining on the way up at intervals, which was a blessing abating the heat. I’m not a frequent hiker, in fact it was my first time using hiking poles. Even though I’m in good physical shape, I couldn’t have done it if not for Junior’s patience and help. Hiking all the way to the lake allows amazing views of the island mountains and changing landscapes due to the ongoing volcanic activity. To say it’s physically challenging is an understatement but completing it is exhilarating. The area absolutely deserves to be an UNESCO Heritage site. Communication, punctuality and quality of vehicle all good with Junior. I totally recommend hiring him for this or other adventures and also to visit Dominica beyond the few hours a cruise ship stop allows. Thanks Junior for an unforgettable experience, including tubing at the Titou Gorge.

    We had a fantastic hike to the Boiling Lake. Junior was great: very patient, helpful, and funny! On a strenuous, punishing hike like this it's important to keep the spirits up with a dose of humor. Junior delivered well. I would say I'd do it again but I need to recover for a while. 😁

    This was a very challenging but rewarding hike. Parts of the trail are well defined, others not, so we were glad to have a guide. Jason was great. He shared his local knowledge, and was patient with us on the tough parts. Highly recommend!!

    The hike was very strenuous. Junior was patient with us and encouraged us to keep going. Since he's from that area, he's full of information and made it a great experience.

    Jason was a great guide. Very flexible and communicative with the booking. He made it very easy by picking me up and dropping me off directly at my accommodation. On the hike he had a lot of knowledge to share about the area and was able to answer many questions. He was an excellent person to have along for this adventure.
