What to expect
Lago Sandoval
We will leave at 9:00 am, we will take a tour of the Madre de Dios river by boat about 45min. Approx. Once there we will hike for 2 hours in the middle of the dense rainforest and head towards Lake Sandoval, one of the largest in the National Reserve Tambopata and we will paddle boat where We will appreciate a wide variety of birds and monkeys from different species, (shansho, cormorant, jacanas, cougar heron, hens, cotomono, friar monkey, black machín, pichicos and sloths). Such Once we'll have an encounter with the giant otter family (almost two meters long) that is endangered and largest recorded alligators over 4 meters long. Then we will take a lunch break, lunch consists in a typical dish of the region like Juane, we will have lunch in the same National Reserve, in the afternoon we will return to the city of port Maldonado, at 5 or 5 : 30 pm approximately We'll get to town. End of service.
