Denali Highway
Sightseeing: The entire route off Denali Hwy presents outstanding views of the Alaska Range mountains, borealis vegetation, mountain glacial features and wildlife: caribou, moose, fox, marmot, wolf, ptarmigan, trumpeter swan, and other. We will make a lot of stops to take pictures. If we have clear sky, we will see amazing sunset and sunrise and if it's going be not rainy day, we will have campfire brake. Denali Highway
Point of interest: Denali Mountain View. During clear weather we going to see excellent view of North America‘s highest peak. Nenana River. The Nenana Glacier is the primary source of this glacial river. Denali Highway Orientation Sign. We will take picture with sign to prove of your presents on Denali Hwy. Alaska Range Viewpoint: Mount Deborah, Mount Hess and Susitna River valley. Susitna River. The Susitna Tiver is a major drainage system in the Denali region. Eskers. We will drive on an esker, a sinuous ridge of silt, sand, gravel and cobbles that were carried and deposited by a stream that flowed within the glacier, confined by walls of ice. Waterfowl Lakes. These lakes are summer habitat for many species of waterfowl: ducks, grebes, geese and shorebirds. Kettle Lakes. Several small lakes were formed when chunks of ice broke off retreating glaciers and were buried in the glacial debris.
Delta Junction
We will make few stops on Richardson HWY: Pipeline and Birch lake view. Also high possibility to see wildlife.
