Absolutely fantastic tour and day out, exactly what I was hoping for. We had Tom who was excellent, fun and great to chat with and taught us a lot. The snowshoeing itself was good fun & topped off with a nice lunch stop at the end. Communication prior to tour was great. Highly recommend all around.

I had a chance to snowshoe in in High Tatras and then build an igloo with Erik and a bunch of awesome people in January.I feel like this could be something I'd be happy to include in my CV - "built an igloo as a team effort and safely slept in it while the temperature outside was below -20 degrees Celsius".
Erik, or Adventoura Slovakia, is a very good guide and companion for all things adventure. Great support, good instructions, and all equipment provided. Hope to try this or another tour with him again in the future.

Overall we had a good day snowshoeing on the mountains in the eastern High Tatras. The gear was top notch and the scenery was beautiful.

We (myself and 11 and 12 year old kids) spent one day cross-country skiing and another snowshoeing with Erik in the High Tatras near Ždiar. We had the best time both days.
Erik picked us up right at our lodging, got us squared away with rentals, and right to the trailheads. Not only were the locations beautiful, but we learned so much about the area and Slovakia. It’s nice having a local show you their backyard, which they truly love.
Erik was great with instruction, so even if you haven’t skied or snowshoes before, you’d do great. He was patient with our need for frequent snack breaks 😂 and great with the kids. He even helped me plan what to do without him the next day.
And he was helpful with the pre-planning - how to get where we were going etc.
The High Tatras Mountains are gorgeous and I highly recommend getting out and exploring them with Adventoura Slovakia.

My wife and I had a really memorable and very enjoyable day with Erik, snowshoeing in unseasonably mild and glorious weather. Erik is not just a knowledgeable and professional guide, he's a really decent and kind human being - the type of that you are very happy spending a special day with.
