    My friend and I did a 60-minute flameworking workshop here, and it was such an incredible experience! We didn’t book an appointment. We went in person and asked them for a class and they told us we could come in 30 minutes just until they set up. Selçuk and Gamze are the kindest, most welcoming people, and you can tell they truly love what they do. Gamze is such a talented artist, and they both make the whole experience so enjoyable. First they show you how to melt glass and form it into beads and different shapes and give you lots of tips, then They let you take full creative control of your piece and guide you through it in the most helpful and encouraging way. At the end they help you make your glad piece into a bracelet or necklace. It was my first time trying something like this, and they made me fall in love with it. If you’re a foreigner, they speak English, so anyone can join. We left feeling so happy and inspired. Highly recommend!

    I found this glass art studio while walking near Galata Tower, and it was such a great surprise! The place is full of beautiful glass art, and the people there are so friendly. I joined a workshop and had so much fun. The master was very skilled and made it easy for me to learn, even though it was my first time. It felt amazing to create something with my own hands! If you’re looking for a fun activity or a special piece of art to take home, this studio is perfect. I highly recommend it!

    What to expect

    What is Flameworking? Flameworking involves melting Efetre glass rods with a torch flame that reaches approximately 1200 degrees Celsius. Before the advent of modern torches, people used oil lamps or candles to melt glass, hence the technique is also known as “lampworking” or “flameworking.” Event Details: This event can be held with 2 - 5 people. It cannot be held with only 1 person. Participants will sit and enjoy their coffee while the artist explains the flameworking technique and introduces the tools and materials. After two demonstration sessions, participants will decide on the shape, style, and colors of the piece they want to create from the samples. They will then put on their aprons and protective glasses and start making their pieces with the artist's support. Final Touches: After completing the work, they will be cooled in a heat blanket and handed over to the participants. Now it's time to turn your beautiful beads into jewelry. With the help of auxiliary parts and hand tools, you'll create your first glass artwork. Use them yourself or gift them to your loved ones! You will experience the endless pleasure of melting glass. From solid to liquid
