This was a good trip and a nice break from Venice. It was a nice change of scenery and pace.
The actual day was a bit different than the one listed in the itinerary, so here’s what we experienced. We started in Venice and it was really easy to find. The tour guide was pretty quiet and didn’t talk much or introduce himself/anything. He was very nice and answered questions, just quiet. We stopped after about 2 hours for a bathroom/stretch break. Then we got to Cortina, but due to traffic we were only able to stay for about 40 mins. It would have been nice to have more time here, but I understand it’s hard to control timings with the traffic. Then we went to Lake Misurina for 2 hours. We had enough time to go up the ski lift and see views from the top. Then we took a very brisk walk around the lake so that we had enough time to grab sandwiches there as well. Finally we stopped at the dam (I believe in Auronzo). The view here was GORGEOUS, and the stop was about 10 mins just to admire and take photos. Then we drove all the way back. We hit a lot of traffic, and we were sitting in the 3rd row so there was very little air flow and no vents in the back. We asked the driver several times to turn up the AC and he would, but it would quickly heat up again. It was not a comfortable drive back at all. I would not recommend sitting in the back of the van, and I’d recommend the tour company have a fan or some air flow in the back for those passengers. Overall the Dolomites are breathtaking and this is a great way to get there and see many things without having to worry about transport. But it would be great if the transport back was a little bit more comfortable.

I had a lovely time but think it was over priced.
Everything we did was free to do. So really all we where paying for was the transport & with 4 other couples they really did make alot out of us.

Great option if you want to get away from Venice and see other parts of Italy. We had Marco as a tour guide. Very knowledgeable and engaging with our group. The price is definitely worth the booking.
