We'll meet at the public car park at Altnafeadh. It's muddy and rutted so roadside parking is usually better. If you don't have a car, I can arrange a taxi for you.

What to expect
Buachaille Etive Mòr Car Park
After introductions, we'll walk towards the white cottage and start the climb of "The Buckle". The first section is a steep ascent up the valley. We'll summit to the bealach (saddle) for a well earned break. A rocky ascent brings us to the summit of Buachaille Etive Mòr at 1,021m. You've now earned the phenomenal views of Rannoch Moor, and your Buachaille Etive Mór summit patch. Depending on the weather, we may eat on the summit or head back down to a more sheltered spot. We'll then walk back down the same way to the car park. If you like, we could head to one of the pubs in the glen to celebrate the summit!
