    We enjoyed visiting the beautiful city. The guide and village people were very friendly. The brewery visit and restaurant were awesome too. The beer was the best we have tasted in Japan and food was delicious and very abundant

    Located less than an hour from Nagoya is the small town of Okada, where centuries-old houses and other buildings afford a glimpse into Japan's past and let you connect with history. A short walk away is SoN, a small complex that includes a bakery, a restaurant with an interesting and tasty food menu and a line of locally crafted beers on tap, and a shop where you can buy the same selection of beers in bottles. Friendly staff, too, some of whom speak English.

    Okada town and OKD Kominka Brewery tour positively surprised me. I wasn’t aware of Okada’s history of cotton production, and the historical buildings were a highlight of the tour. I also loved that the brewery and restaurant utilize the existing buildings and fit right into the image, but connect Okada to modernity through the tasteful interiors. But the best part came after and were the actual beers and food- both top notch quality. Even the semi-fermented strawberry beer we got to try at the brewery was a nice surprise- it tasted like Kombucha! I really didn’t expect that. I ended up buying 7 bottles of different flavored beers to take home and am looking forward to enjoying them. I’ll also be looking for them in local shops from now on. The Original set on the menu was absolutely delicious and great value, as the serving was huge. Though other dishes also looked good and make me want to come back to try them next time. I definitely recommend the tour - it was time well spent.

    I loved the tour, I found it a beautiful village, very well kept and with much detail of decoration The organization has been great, everyone lovely. The best beer!!!! Thank you for the invitation, without hesitation we will return to the family
