What to expect?

When you arrive at the car park, our friendly ranger will greet you and guide you to the start of the alpaca trekking experience. After a safety briefing, you'll be introduced to your chosen alpaca. Embark on a leisurely trek through the diverse landscapes, taking in the serenity and beauty that surrounds you. The trek itself lasts approximately 30-40 minutes, and upon reaching the end, your alpaca will be securely tied up. From there, you'll have the opportunity to cross a bridge to the island, where you'll find a delightful coffee trailer and picnic tables, perfect for enjoying a well-deserved break. The entire experience lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes, and if you wish, you can even explore the trail again at your leisure.

It's important to arrive at our car park at least 10 minutes before your booked activity time. We are conveniently located on the B2 road, just 3 miles outside Ballynahinch on the way to Dromore, County Down. The vibrant city center of Belfast is a mere 25-minute drive away, making this experience easily accessible for both locals and visitors alike. If you're coming from further afield, Belfast International Airport is only 40 minutes away, while Dublin International Airport is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes away. Please note that coffee, tea, and bottled water are not included in the experience, so be sure to bring your own if desired.
