    We had a fantastic whole day tour featuring the Hadrian’s Wall with Kevin. He was very friendly and we were impressed by his knowledge in Hadrian’s Wall and relevant history. The costume he wore on the day showing how British people looked like in the ancient Roman time was also very informative and made the whole experience even more interesting. We would happily recommend Kevin’s tour to anyone who is interested.

    Kevin did a magnificent job in what ended up as a private full-day tour. His historical knowledge of Hadrian’s Wall, Vindolanda, and the Housestead Roman Fort is spectacular, and he was able to answer every single one of my questions. Very courteous, supportive, and provided top-notch customer service. I have great thanks and appreciation for the job that he did, right from the booking process to actually taking that tour. Can’t imagine that anybody’s better at doing that tour than Kevin and his company Ancient Britain. And the traditional garments that he wore along with an assortment of weapons and defensive items he demonstrated for the first 30-mins were very authentic and representative. I give him and Ancient Britain 5-stars on every aspect, thoroughly enjoyed it.

    We took the full day tour. Kevin was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and informative. Ask him any question about Roman history in Great Britain and he knows the answer. He connected us with taxi service to make the 3 stops. It was seamless. Highly recommend this tour if you like history and want to know about early history of Great Britian.

    Outstanding experience! Enjoyable and super informative about both Hadrians Wall and the associated forts, but insights into so much more Roman and Celtic life. Kevin is an excellent guide and great person to spend a day with. Was also great to spend ti e in the beautiful Northumberland hills. Highly recommended.
