Poland is Beautiful organised 9 of us on our trip to the Salt Mines. It was great from start to finish….puck up on time, tickets bought for us, guided with an English group and after several hours exploring the caves Tomasz organised a traditional Polish lunch in a lovely restaurant. Then onto Schindler’s Factory where we had a fantastic private guide. To complete this full day we took golf buggies around the Jewish Quarter. I have no hesitation to recommend Tomasz and Poland is Beautiful. We were delighted with everything!

We were a group of 7. 2 families. Thanks God we cooperate with this taxi company. They pick us up from the airport. On day we have a trip to Zakopane for ski. Another day we went to the Salt mine and finally they take us back to the airport. The owner and all the employees were terrific! Very polite and helpful! Always on time as we schedule and very good English speakers. Thank you all very much! We have a wonderful time in your beautiful country and the kids also enjoyed all the trips too!

This is a very interesting trip and full of history as the mine was working for over 700 years. Lots to see and learn. Be warned there are a lot of steps - mostly down but a few up. Over 800 apparently but they are taken at a steady pace by the experienced guide. Really worth the effort. Our driver Thomas was excellent, punctual and very informative.

The historic Salt Mine is located about 10 km from Krakow and is on the first UNESCO World Heritage List (1978). The current mine was established ad the turn off 18 and 19 century (though mining history reaches antiquity here). The tourist route goes through the most interesting places in the mine that consists of 22 chambers which are connected by salt pathways of lenght about 3 km. Chambers are located at depth 64 to 135 meters underground.
