Despite cold and wet weather we saw orcas, gray whales snd sea lions. Our naturalist was friendly and trooper staying out on the bow despite the weather.

Truly a great experience. We got to see whales (humpback and gray) the drink and food options on board was perfect and the host was super friendly and knowledgeable!

Great experience overall! Alison, the naturalist, was very energetic, knowledgeable and kind, made the trip even better. We were lucky to see a couple of orcas early in the season! Boarding closes 15 min before departure, be on time! We barely made it.

This was by far the best tour we’ve ever done! We went on the opening day of the season, Friday, May 10. I was hoping to see Orcas. But, as we ventured out, the views were amazing, the boat was so comfortable, and the service and naturalist were awesome! We saw probably 100 seals, 3 bald eagles, and 3 grey whales! As we were making our way back, the captain says “bonus whales”, and we were able to see 2 beautiful Orcas!! They really do mean the tour can take 3.5-5 hours because they will go out of their way to make sure you get the best experience. Took their time and let us see and watch the whales. The naturalist was so informative, knew the whales by name, and happy to answer all questions. This truly was an amazing experience and it was the cherry on top of our perfect vacation week! We spent the full 5 hours in the water and it could not have been better!

The crew put all efforts into visitors being able to see as much wildlife as possible. The ride was comfortable and peaceful and crew made sure everyone was able to view any wildlife

Nice, comfortable boat ride. No whales but we did see some sea lions and great views of Mount Baker.

Best part: when orcas did different behaviors than just swimming, like spy hopping (saw this once), tail slapping (sa this about 30 times), breaching (saw this 5 times), rolling, showing their pectoral fins (saw one time). I’ve seen orcas many times in the wild, but never seen so much tail slapping. I enjoyed this trip. What made me rate it so low is the price. $130 for this trip was way too high. We were out for less than 4 hours. I feel that $30/hour is too high.

Lifelong dream to see whales swimming freely. They got so close to the ship. We have video memories.

Clyde_R

Being able to see Killer whale Pod that was just close enough to take pics and videos. The excursion was long enough to be able to see them. Everyone knew it was not a guarantee, but we did see them.
