What to expect
We typically spend about 30 minutes+ here to see the medieval cloisters film site plus the medieval quadrangle and walls plus the chapel, the hall and the gardens. Entry worth from £7 to £12 per person included in tour. Entry worth £8 per person is included in the ticket.
We typically finish the tour in front of the 'Nearly Headless NIck' statue outside entrance to Bodleian. We introduce the two film site venues at the Bodleian from outside and for anyone wishing to pay £2.50 per person to visit the Divinity school inside the Bodleian, they can do that after they say goodbye to the guide. Guiding is no longer permitted inside the Divinity school anyway, so we have decided to remove entry from the tour and reduce the tour by £3. Last entry to Divinity school for self guided entry is usually 4.45pm but check Bodleian website for any closures. As for entering Duke Humfreys library, you can only see inside the library, if you book days or weeks in advance, the Bodleian library's own staff guided tours via Bodleian website. Tickets for their library tours cost from about £10 to £20 and no children aged under 11 may enter Duke Humfreys library too!

INFO FOR DRIVERS AND PARKING: If you are driving, then please allow extra 30-60 minutes over whatever time you think it will take you to get here. Oxford is NOT car friendly and it is congested roads and hard to find parking spaces....unless you park at the sign posted 'park and rides' on edge of town on any major road into the city and hop on their buses into city centre. The park and ride buses leave every 15 or every 30 minutes and take anything from 10 min to 30 min (depending on traffic) to reach city centre. So if you are going to drive, then please assume you should be aiming to park your car about one hour before your tour starts.
