    Our sea kayaking adventure with Matt and Patrick was a wonderful way to experience Alesund! The guides were very knowledgeable and informative. We loved hearing local stories and traditions. Our photographs will be a reminder of a most special afternoon.

    Not as advertised, poor service. This was advertised as a way to see the art nouveau architecture of Alesund from the water. We paddled past a commercial port area, the only tour information provided was about nesting birds and that there was a fire in 1904, and then we turned around and paddled back. No information about the city or architecture. Further, they refused to properly adjust the foot peddles because they had 24 people and we had to accommodate their inability to get guests loaded into the kayaks on time. Ridiculous to ask paying guests to be uncomfortable and unable to properly brace while paddling in fairly bouncy water. If you want to kayak in Alesund look elsewhere.

    Patrick was a great guide and kayaking in Alesund was beautiful. We felt secure getting in the kayak with the instructions given to us beforehand, and felt very comfortable navigating the waterways. Kayaking through a town with a very different experience and then the views opened up on the coastline and were gorgeous. We loved the experience and would recommend it to anyone.

    We had an amazing experience. From the cruise port the adventure centre was only a short walk. The guide Patrick was very nice and he had a lot of knowledge and tips about Alesund. Thank you for the nice tour Partrick!

    We loved this tour. I’m a little baffled by the remarks made by a lady regarding how difficult the sea kayaking was. It’s the sea! It wasn’t remotely unsafe and was easy to paddle, the canoe was a two man sea kayak exactly as expected. Our guide was lovely although it’s difficult to talk to 4 couples independently he gathered us from time to time to tell stories. Getting out wasn’t easy or graceful, I’m a 62 year old overweight lady with a dodgy knee and back but with a little guidance and shuffling my bottom onto the back of the boat and crawling out but it’s doable and everyone was the same - not remotely graceful. I would do this again in a heartbeat
