    As a Canadian who returns often to my birthplace of Derry, I was riveted and gladdened by the Herstory tour. Through the well researched, poignant and very informative yet accessible lens of filmmaker Anne Crilly, I was introduced to the women writers, leaders, factory workers and suffragettes who were sometimes written out of( his)tory. The story of the arrest and subsequent trial and execution of Miss Cicely Jackson, a servant woman was heartbreakingly sad and so unjust. I encourage everyone to take this tour to learn about our sisters so that we can be aware and learn from their stories and strength as we go forward in our uncertain times. Bravo Anne.

    The Derry Herstory Tour was a unique and informative experience that highlighted the forgotten stories of local Derry women! Anne is an amazing tour guide whos tongue and cheek way of weaving stories and delivering historical facts made for a very entertaining hour! I would definitely recommend booking the tour if you're visiting Derry soon or even if you're a local looking to learn more about the city!

    This was a wonderful tour! I thought it perfectly touched on the parts of Derry history that I’d learned about in other tours and museums while sharing the stories of the women of the city that those other experiences had left out or only briefly mentioned. Anne was so great and knowledgeable! You can tell she really knows her stuff and has done so much research. I appreciated that she also discussed current women’s issues in Derry and linked them to the past. There’s a good mix of happy and sad, funny and serious. Totally recommend!

    Anne was a wee star and we loved her craic! Unfortunately the weather God's were NOT in our favour! Anne was a trooper and even walked us to a taxi rank and ordered 3 taxis for us to head back to our air bnb as we were soaked! Will definitely ve back and do this tour again!
