The tour was extremely well done, Des does an amazing job at explaining the history of places with the paranormal stories, and she knows a lot on both topics. The only downside was not being able to go in and explore the places. I would definitely go on this tour if you’re looking for good ghost stories and to learn about the history of the city without the fear of a ghost getting you!… well until you get to the park.

A fun way to learn a little history of Traverse City! Des did a great job orating and leading our group through the streets. She had some fun stories of the area. I highly recommend this tour - the perfect amount of time, the perfect distance, and so much fun :) the ghost hunting at the end was some silly fun for the kids!

My wife is really into ghost tours, so I got tickets for our anniversary. We were both entertained throughout the tour. Our guide, Des, did a great job and was knowledgeable about Traverse City and ghost stories. A great way to spend an evening here.

This was a fantastic walking tour through downtown Traverse City. Des, the ghost tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. She narrated the cities ghost stories at multiple stops along the tour. You could tell that she did her research into the history and continues to do so. It was a great evening of walking through downtown.

I thought the lantern tour was mediocre…You journey through downtown TC just to stop in front of different “haunted” spots and hear lame ghost stories (with wayyy to many people to keep track of lol)! It was fun to be outside on a nice night, but I wasn’t impressed…I think if we could of gotten to go into some of the haunted locations it would have been 100% more impressive…I would skip and go check out the haunted asylum tour in TC instead… you actually get to tour the haunted asylum!

Our guide gave us a great history of Traverse City and recounted the experiences she and other people had inside and outside the city’s historical buildings. We had a good time laughing with our guide, walking through the city, and learning about common ghost hunting equipment and how to NOT disturb spirits in their resting places.

What a great way to learn the history of Traverse City! Des was passionate and knowledgeable of history as if she’s lived it her whole life. Her stories were presented exquisitely and with no hesitation whatsoever. Puns were perfectly preformed. Just enough surprises to delight any age! Don’t miss this tour…it may haunt you for the rest of your life!

Dez was an amazing tour guide. Me and my wife went on the last tour of the year. By far the best ghost tour we have been on. She is very rich in the history and knowledge of Traverse city. The stories of the towns people and her experiences are something everyone should hear. We will do another one of Dez's ghost tours again and are looking forward to it.

There's no better way to experience a town than to get to know its history and hauntings! Des provided both! Her knowledge of both the area and her experience, both personal and professional with the paranormal, showed as brighter as the lantern! I'll never look at downtown Traverse City the same way!
