I loved seeing the whales and hearing the stories from our captain Paul. He was extremely knowledgeable and a very good storyteller.

Excellent boat tour. Was able to see a whale mother with two babies among other whales. The babies were quite active providing excellent picture opportunities. The captain told quite a number of stories about Alaska

We took the early morning tour in mid May and it was truly the highlight of our trip! Denise was our driver and lead most of the tour and she was amazing. She told a ton of stories about her life as a local hunter/gather/fisher and native Tlingit. We saw humpbacks - a full breech, tail flaps, and many terminal dives. After that, Denise made it her goal to find a bear for us. We found three - a mom and three cubs! Make sure you bring binoculars for the best wildlife viewing! Also, bring your own drinks as there is nothing available on the boat. We truly enjoyed our day, and I would highly recommend this tour!

Good trip but little disappointed in what we saw. Only 2 whales, sea lions and a some porpoises. Felt like the captain stopped once we came across the 2 whales and we didn’t venture elsewhere, would have been nice considering the time and money spent if he’d taken us to other parts to try n see some more!

Absolutely wonderful tour. Captain Denise had wonderful stories to share, as she is a native Tlingit. Her assistant Carson is a marine biologist and was able to share amazing facts about the wildlife we saw. Don’t miss this! It was worth every penny!

Capt Denise was friendly, informative, and entertaining on our successful whale watching tour. Our boat was designed for a max group of 18 passengers, plus captain and one crew member (Carson?) who was also a marine biologist. During our 2+ hour tour, we saw several humpback whales, including a mother and calf who were feeding in about 190’ of water. What we saw of the feeding process was the whales first surfacing to exhale air from their last dive, a whale spout if you will. Then the whales would surface one to two more times during the next minute, with the last surfacing including their tail coming out of the water as they dove to the bottom. All of this happened within about a 100 or 150 feet of us on the closest encounters; and the process repeated every 5 to 7 minutes. I’m glad I took the tour and it is something I will always remember.

Captain Paul was the best captain and guide. Extremely knowledgeable about the area, whales, bears, fish. So many experiences he shared and of course we did see whales including 2 sets of moms and babies with one baby smacking it's tail in and out of the water repeatedly. Small boat tour and everyone easily got pictures to last a lifetime. Highly recommend.

Saw lots of whales, sea lions and a grizzly! The guide was superb and the boat was excellent. The captain was a wealth of knowledge!
