We proudly offer a designated bus driver (for safety) and step-on tour guide (for entertainment and information). Our drivers do not double as tour guides. All of our fully air-conditioned buses have panoramic windows for optimal viewing opportunities, and bathrooms on board. Start your tour with pickup from select Las Vegas hotels and we don't take you to a central location to reload onto a different bus. You will go out on the bus you were picked up in. Limiting pick-ups and traveling on one bus allows us to save time and get back early. It can take hours to pull in and out of every hotel. By limiting pick-ups to 7 we are usually the first bus company to Hoover Dam. En route, your comedian tour-guide entertains and answers questions Hoover Dam, its history and/or the Las Vegas area.

On arrival, you’ll begin with a generator viewing. Travel 524 feet (160 meters) into the walls of Black Canyon to view the Nevada power-plant, generators and a 30-foot-diameter (9-meter) pipe inside one of the four giant diversion tunnels. Next, head into the Hoover Dam Visitor Center where you can see the history of Hoover Dam and view numerous exhibits that explain how the dam was built, how it operates and who benefits from the water and electricity. Walk on the Top Tour - This is an exclusive, fully guided comprehensive 45-minute walk over the top of the dam. Your knowledgeable guide will touch all aspects of the dam including electricity, outlet works, intake towers, concrete, diversion tunnels, water/drought, deaths, wages, earthquakes, artwork, WWII and more.

This was a great experience for me, hubby, and our two adult children. Harrison the Comedy On Deck Tour Guide and Chris, our bus driver were fantastic. Pickup was smooth at Treasure Island. FYI - the first time I realized it was "Comedy On Deck" was at the pickup, as it did not use that name on the reservations. It just said Hoover Dam Comedy Tour. Not a problem, just made sure we were with the correct tour. We had one other stop at Horseshoe before the tour started. We made reservations through Viator $356.40 (does not include gratuity for tour guide, bus driver, or lunch restaurant Omelet House). If including tips, it was $100 per adult. I believe we got our money's worth. It does include the bus ride (restroom on bus) and cold bottled water offered to you at every stop with: 1 - Vegas tour - Guide shared information about Vegas that was interesting and made the drive pleasant and seem to go by quickly 2 -stop at the famous Las Vegas Sign where we were able to snap some pics. 3 - drive through Boulder City but no stop at the Hoover Dam Museum as stated in the booking (interesting info presented by guide) 4 - Hoover Dam Bypass - this was a great way to view the Dam. There are staircases and an ADA accessible ramp all the way up to the bypass (a road built above the dam) and the view is amazing. We had about 30 minutes here with bathrooms available. We were glad to hear about Lake Meade as part of the tour as well. We did see a big horned sheep on mountain. 5 - Hoover Dam - INCREDIBLE, seriously appreciative of every single person that did anything with building this dam and all those that continue to maintain and operate this extra-ordinary engineering triumph. The tour there started with a well done short film. Probably would have been more interested in a more in depth tour, but not sure if they are even available right now and not part of this tour anyway. (I can't remember tour guide's name for the Dam tour, but he did a great job.) A new exhibit building was under construction, but they did have an exhibit open. However, we ran out of time to experience that, but it was a beautiful day so we enjoyed walking across the dam and being outside for our time there. They do have a gift shop which we almost missed as well and the ice cream shop was closed. We could have used about 15-20 more minutes at the dam. 6 -Omelet House for lunch. I was so impressed with the organization. On the bus, we were given a card with choices of (oh shucks, I should have taken pic) about 5 or 6 meals and 10 drinks. Burger, Turkey Sandwich, Spaghetti, Burrito, ?Grilled Chicken Sandwich, ?, ?, Drinks the usual - Coke, Sprite, ?Root Beer, ?, ?, ?, ?, Raspberry Sweet Tea. Sorry I didn't get the pic. Anyway, they collected our cards, called ahead and the Omelet House seated us and had our orders quickly. Tip for the restaurant was not included in our tour. We left a tip reflecting a $50 meal for four. I enjoyed my meal of the turkey sandwich and I believe all dishes came with round potatoes slices chips/fries and I really liked those as well. The Raspberry Tea was a nice treat that I don't have hardly ever. The other food received in my party was the burger and they said it was good. I did enjoy the decor at our table - Elvis! I would give this tour a 5 star over and over again. It met and went above all of my expectations. I believe the price is very reasonable and I think they can keep it there since gratuity is not included and tipping is on an individual basis. The pamphlet suggests sizable tips for the Comedy on Deck tour guide ($10 per person) and bus driver ($5 per person) and then as you are on your way to Omelet House, you are made aware the tip was not included. The Omelet House was good to make change if you have larger bills so when you return back to Vegas you will be prepared for tipping tour guide and driver. My suggestions for Comedy On Deck Hoover Dam Tour - 15-20 minutes longer at the Hoover Dam and add some small snack (pretzels, crackers, cookies, whatever really) between the by-pass and the Dam.

2nd time in 2 years visiting the Dam. Harrison was our guide and was tastefully funny. Previous guide was also funny, but the group got a tad tired of the drinking, I'm drunk, etc comments all the time. The "lunch" was ok, dont think it will be your best meal, but the Tour and history was awesome. It's an unbelievable feat this was done over 100 years ago, under budget and 2 years ahead of schedule. Top bad the government can't accomplish this today. If you haven't seen the dam, GO!!

Harrison was our guide. He gave a four amount of history about the dam, we had plenty of time to explore everything and was back to our hotel by 2. I took this tour 2 yrs ago, and we stopped at Boulder for about a half hour but didn't this time. My suspicion was because our last guide wanted to get a shot or have a few drinks.

Coach bus had the worst bathroom smell I’ve ever encountered. They should empty or clean it. People that sat in the back should not have to smell such horrible smells when people open that door. Comic was mediocre funny; lunch was a disappointment. Like the history and the dam.
