    Horrible the tour company did not respond to any of our request for the pick up location we asked 5 times and no one responded.

    Lovely time riding horses on the beach! We departed the stables and headed straight to the beach. We spent 80% of our time on the beach, but did spend a little time going through a “residential” area. Surprisingly there was a lot of trash. 😔 Our guides were very nice, but spoke very little English. They did allow my daughter and I to gallop on the beach as we are more experienced riders. Overall, it was a lovely half day excursion!

    Wow. Simply amazing! Staff was the best. Wasnt expecting such wonderful communication, horses were well behaved. 2 hrs flew by wish it were longer. Beach was wonderful although we did go thru local town and other beach with brown water still the very best excursion I have ever been apart of!

    It was a great experience. Everything was easy and smooth. The prices were great, the operators were great. My family and I had an amazing time. Will definitely book again the next visit to DR.

    TRANSPORTATION They use an old open air truck. This was very dissappointing as we boarded a nice air conditoned modern bus to leave the Hard Rock Hotel and all that does is take you outside of the Hard Rock property where they then swap you onto this old beat up truck. The trip to the ranch was very long. The seats are uncomfortable and some of them were broken as you can see in the photos. The metal of the seating area was full of rust. It felt very unsafe. The worst part was all the exhaust from the truck blowing into the seating area. When we got within 15 minutes of the ranch, the truck went through a street that passed by a bunch of hotels. That street was full of speed bumps which were uncomfortable and then you couldn't breathe because of the mount of exhaust blowing into our area. This was the worst part of this tour. On top of this we had to pay extra for this transportation as they don't include it in the cost of the tour. We would have just paid for private transportation instead had we known it would be this bad. PHOTOS They have a photographer taking photos and videos. They charged $80 to get a USB with the photos and then charge you an extra $15 to pay with credit card. I don't mind paying for this and appreciate someone taking photos and videos of us. That said, I was dissappointed to see the resulting photos. The photographer had an SLR camera that looked like a good camera. Apparently, it was not. The photos are low resolution photos that are hazy. I don't know if his lense was dirty and thats why they came out hazy or if it is just the low resolution. The photos are 1920 X 1280. The photos I took with my phone are 4000 X 3000 and look much much better. The video also looked hazy and not as good as my phone video. They took 1080P video while most modern phones take 2160P video. Again, I'm happy to pay for photos and video, but they should have a much better camera and make sure it has a clean lense so the customers can get nicer photos for their memories. HORSEBACK RIDING TOUR The horseback riding tour itself was very nice for the most part. You go through a very nice beach area, you then go through a not so nice street for a while, and then you go back to the nice beach. It can get challenging some times where the horses want to pass each other and your legs get crushed in a crowd of horses. At the end of the day, it is always nice to be able to ride horses on the beach. To be clear, you don't go bareback in the water whereby you get wet. You keep the saddles on and ride along the shore and your horse may get its feet wet as the waves come into the shoreline.
