    Very fun! Loads of Eastern Spinner dolphins and some Spotted Dolphins. Mating sea turtles, too!!! Peter and Maria are very good at the educational piece and their love of dolphins shines through everything. We were incredibly lucky that we found a huge pod of dolphins (hundreds) or maybe they found us.....the spinners were so much fun to watch, close by at front of boat and further away jumping and spinning in the air. The snorkeling experience was good, too. Please donate to the research on Eastern Spinners! They are a newly discovered species and Oceanico's goal is to learn as much as possibe and to keep the dolphins safe. Would do this trip again in a heartbeat!

    The captain and assistant were very knowledgeable and nice. We did see lots of dolphins and mating turtles. La India bay was excellent for swimming and snorkeling.

    Took a private tour with Peter and Maria. Didn’t see many dolphins but saw many turtles, including turtles mating. See sea conditions were a bit rough, but we had some very good snorkeling at two locations, see a wide variety of fish species. Peter and Maria, being marine biologists/researchers offer more insight and education than other snorkeling tours, and have a very comfortable boat. Highly recommended!

    This was an amazing experience! The crew is very passionate and knowledgeable about the marine life living in the area. They are also incredibly kind and welcoming. During the boating portion of the tour, our boat encountered a large pod of dolphins that swam and jumped with the boat.. incredible! We also saw sea turtles out at sea, then many fish when we went snorkeling at a bay. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves marine life and/or wants an unforgetable experience in Huatulco.

    What to expect

    Escape the crowds and enjoy a thrilling ocean adventure to see dolphins, turtles (and in winter whales) before exploring the beautiful bays of the Huatulco National Park and snorkeling the reefs. There are no other tours like this in Huatulco! Our crew of bilingual Naturalists first take you offshore where the dolphins, sea turtles (and December through March, whales) can be found. Most trips we are the only boat exploring offshore! Then we cruise back to the coast of the Huatulco National Park and the famous bays. Time and weather permitting we will navigate through the National Park bays including: Chachacual, La India, Cacaluta, Maguey and Organo. We typically stop for guided snorkeling at 2 of the healthiest reefs, away from the crowds. There is a maximum of 12 guests to ensure everyone a fun and personable experience. Please note there is a minimum 5 guests to operate the tour. During the tour our crew share their observations of the marine species we see and their knowledge of bays and history of Huatulco. Finally, we return to Chahué marina after an amazing journey exploring the open ocean, stunning bays and reefs of Huatulco.

    Exciting and unique adventures to explore Huatulco bays, reefs & open ocean! Our Ocean Eco Adventures combine exploring miles offshore where the dolphins, sea turtles and whales* can be found with coastal cruising in the Huatulco National Park including guided snorkeling on 2 of the best reefs away from the crowds. Our team of Marine Biologists takes you further to see more dolphins, turtles, whales* and includes 2 guided reef snorkeling sessions. First we cruise several miles offshore to the best areas to find dolphins, sea turtles & whales*. Our guides share insights into the lives of the dolphins, sea turtles and whales* we encounter while exploring offshore as we collect data for our research. Then we cruise back to the coast to navigate through the beautiful bays of the Huatulco National Park including; Chachacual, La India, Cacaluta, Maguey, Organo, Santa Cruz & Chahué. Along the way we chose 2 of the best coral reefs in the Huatulco National Park for guided snorkeling sessions. Finally we return to Chahué marina after an amazing half day exploring the open ocean, stunning bays and coral reefs of Huatulco. *Humpback whales can be seen December through March.
