    The tickets did not work in the museum. I had to buy new tickets there. It looks like a scam. At the museum tickets are cheap - 200 EGP per adult.

    We paid the 4.5 flat price of the actual admission. Now had a guide that we had not booked explicitly, but without whom we also did not come Ina Museum, because the payment through the provider was not sufficient and the guide had to get the tickets or place. We waited half an hour for the guide and unfortunately could not enter the museum without him. After the bumpy start, however, the guide seemed to have a lot of interesting things to tell, which all comes up a bit. In the end, the guide wanted to sell us a one-way trip with two stops (to show us two nice places) for the 10 flat price we had paid for the taxi on the one-way trip. A taxi on the road also wanted too high a price and referred us by name to our guide...we should drive with it. And a taxi that we took later also called our guide again, which we found strange. My child felt very uncomfortable with this action.

    Der Guide war pünktlich und nett, aber die Führung durch das Museum war ungenügend, es wurde kaum was erklärt. Es wurde darauf abgezielt so schnell wie möglich durch das Museum zu kommen und im Untergeschoss ein in den Basar bringen. Im Anschluss bot er noch an in das Papyrus Museum zu fahren, was natürlich auch ein Verkaufstrick war mit anschließendem Bazar. Es geht hier niemals darum die Kultur zu zeigen sondern den Touristen das Geld aus der Tasche zu ziehen. Nie wieder Ägypten !

    Was nice with that all said. We had been in the evening, no one else present. To leave it was rather unpleasant. Guard showed us the way, but everything was closed. Came on and open construction site found that good exit. Decided to go back the same way again. Be the guard back again. Saw some young guests eating there somewhere. Turned out someone had the keys and we could finally get to the exit. Where our Uber driver was waiting. So for us, no success.
