    This is one of the most spectacular horseback riding tours I've ever been on, the breathtaking natural beauty of this country is incredible, and the Icelandic Horses are even better! Having great guides definitely made the experience even more memorable! I highly recommend checking it out if you're planning on making a trip to Iceland at some point, well worth every penny, and then some.

    The entire staff at Íshestar took amazing care of our tour group, I cannot say enough great things about my experience. It is clear how much they love and care for the horses, as well as their guests. Guides Barbora and Suzanna were exceptional in how well they led my group and ensured we all had a wonderful horse riding experience.

    I have never been horseback riding in my life, but really wanted to experience riding an Icelandic horse. I found the perfect tour to do this on. The staff is outstanding and take the time to teach you the basics and to match you with a horse that will complement your skill level. They also break the group up into inexperienced and experienced riders. This gave me the opportunity to ride my beautiful, gentle horse through the incredible landscape at a slower pace. All my anxiety as a first time rider melted away and I was left with a perfect experience.
