Located on Pier 86 on the banks of the River Hudson, you will step aboard the USS Intrepid aircraft carrier, a historic vessel used during World War II, the Vietnam War, and as a NASA recovery vessel. Explore its four decks including the bridge, bedrooms, and flight deck. Witness the world's fastest military jet, spy plane, and the British Airways Concorde, which crossed the Atlantic Ocean in 2 hours and 52 minutes. Visit the submarine Growler, the only American strategic missile submarine open to the public, and get a firsthand look at life aboard a submarine. For space enthusiasts, the Space Shuttle Pavilion houses the Enterprise, the world's first space shuttle. Engage with collections, interactive exhibits, and 4D films to learn in an immersive way. Experience flying in the cockpit with three flight simulators available at the museum.
