After a quick introduction to the snowshoe equipment, we will immerse ourselves in the forest on a homemade secluded winter trail. Up the mountain we go, exploring uninterrupted Tahoe National Forest. Tall pine trees, open meadows, and mountainous scenery are enjoyed with every new step into the woods. On this adventure vista of the surrounding ski resorts of Alpine Meadows and Palisades Tahoe are enjoyed at various lookouts. We spend roughly 2 hours exploring the woods on various loop trails. Due to the seclusion, seeing another person is highly unlikely. So step off the beaten path and allow us to show you a true mountain outing you won’t surely forget. This hike is considered a beginner in difficulty best suited for kids 7 years and up
