This trip was amazing and well organised. TJ was a wonderful guide and had a wealth of knowledge to share with the group. The long day was made easy with a very comfortable mini bus, breakfast and lunch included. 10/10 would recommend this tour.

We cannot speak highly enough of TJ’s tour! TJ was very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting with facts and stories that were sensitive to the experiences. We also did a private tour of various sites around Cape Helles which was very reasonably priced, well researched and informative. Nothing was too much trouble and every detail covered. Visiting the Gallipoli Peninsular has been on my husband’s bucket list ( he is ex military) for a long time and we finally made it. TJ is extremely knowledgeable on the area, he took us to all the places that were important for both the ANZACS and the TURKS, giving very unbiased history of WW1. The main body of the trip was very good. Our local guide was very knowledgeable and took us to the famous sites of Gallipoli. Extra time at each site would have allowed us to really immerse ourselves. Pick up was very early considering when we arrived at the main office in Eceabat we waited around for over an hour before we commenced our tour. When we departed back to our hotel we again waited around for a period of time. Perhaps the tour company should take this in to account when planning.

This was a really worthwhile day out and TJ was a terrific guide. A great was to see the battlefields of Gallipoli whilst staying in Istanbul. The drive is quite long but the van is very comfortable. It is a must do for any Kiwi or Aussie

Pick-up in Istanbul : 05:30 : Meet your bus group in front of the Hagia Sofia Mosque (pink mosque), opposite the Blue Mosque in Sultanahmet, Istanbul. Look for our representative holding the TJs TOURS sign. Bus times are essential. The buses can wait for no-one.

Istanbul – Eceabat 05:00 Transfer vehicle will begin the circuit around the hotels for pickups. We ask that customers be ready at reception of hotel for transfer to Eceabat. Pickups between 5.00 & 6.00 am, depending on number of customers from each hotel.. 06:00 Transfer to Eceabat by TJS TOUR bus. 09.30 Arrive in Eceabat where you will be met by the staff of TJs TOURS.

On tour you’ll visit: Kabatepe Epic Promotion Centre (War Museum) Beach Cemetery (John Simpson’s Grave) ANZAC Cove Ari Burnu (First ANZAC landing place) Lone Pine Cemetery (Australian memorial) Johnston’s Jolly (Walk in the ANZAC trenches) – view Shrapnel Valley Turkish Memorial The Nek(Light Horse scene depicted in the Gallipoli movie) &Walker’s Ridge Chunuk Bair (Main New Zealand memorial) Return to TJs TOURS Agency & Hotel in Eceabat. Late Lunch in Eceabat After lunch, drive to Winery. Wine tastes.
