Sounkyo
Sounkyo is located at the foot of Daisetsuzan Mountain in Hokkaido. This grand canyon is covered with cliffs as high as about 100 meters. This is the terrain formed by the erosion of tuff rocks.

Ginga Waterfall
Galaxy Falls and Meteor Falls are two very famous scenic spots in Sounkyo. Meteor Waterfall pours down from a height of 90 meters between the cliffs. It flows down from a foot, but still does not lose its gentle temperament, so it is also called the female waterfall, and the two are collectively called the couple waterfall. In addition to looking at the waterfall along the side of the stream and feeling the momentum of the waterfall, you can also climb up to the waterfall viewing platform on the opposite side to enjoy the different scenes of the two waterfalls at the same time, reflecting the two waterfalls together with the green beauty of the mountains and forests.
