Gadaffi National Mosque was opened officially in June 2007 and was funded by the late Libyan president Muammar Gadaffi. After an early breakfast, you will meet up with your guide at any place of convenience in Kampala, you will be guided to Gaddafi mosque where you are required to wear modestly, it is Located on Kampala Hill, this mosque is one of the largest in East Africa and offers incredible 360-degree views of Kampala from the minaret. It accommodates thousands of people; this will be from 9:00 am-10 am making it approximately one hour
The oldest Anglican cathedral in Uganda, perched on Namirembe Hill, offers beautiful views of Kampala and a glimpse into Uganda’s religious history. It is a significant Anglican landmark with evangelical roots.
The seat of the Roman Catholic Church in Uganda, located on Rubaga Hill. It’s a symbol of Catholic heritage in Uganda. It was constructed by French missionaries. It has beautiful interiors, stained glass windows, and panoramic views of the city.
Bahai Temple is located Kanyanya which is about 3km north of Kampala city center and just about 7km along Gayaza road. It was officially opened in 1961. It was built on Kikaaya hill which is one of the most prominent hills in Kampala which offers tranquil gardens and spiritual calmness. It has Peaceful grounds, unique architecture, and birdwatching opportunities.
Lastly visit Namugongo shrine which is a major pilgrimage site for Christians, commemorating the 24 Catholic and Anglican martyrs who were executed for their faith in the 19th century. The shrine’s stunning design and its significance in Uganda’s Christian history.
