    I did a beginner's kayak course with my family (child 12 years old) on the Soča. The explanations were precise and important points were repeatedly announced before difficult passages. The group consisted of 6 participants and the teacher. 2 days later I was able to do the advanced course on another section of the river in a small group (3 participants and 1 teacher). The explanations were precise and important maneuvers were practiced. The courses were a lot of fun.

    We can really recommend the stage 1 kayak course lead by Feli. Feli had extensive knowledge of the river, was great at instructing, and very positive. The best guide we encountered during our trip in Slovenia.

    We had an absolutely amazing couple of days with Jaka as our instructor. My partner is much more experienced than I am but Jaka made sure we were both getting the most out of the experience. It was really fun, beautiful and got to experience some incredible kayaking ☀️

    I enjoyed the course a lot. It is suitable for absolute beginners like me. The guide (Feli) structured the course very well. In the beginning we got one hour of basic knowledge. Afterwards we started the tour on the river with amazing views in the mountains. Every once a while we stopped for some exercises.

    Well, this day lived up to my expectations, initially I was a bit cautious as I am tall and was worried I may not be able to get out of the Kayak quickly if the need arises. But Feli our instructor, gave us a practice run of getting out the kayak in an emergency and after that we went down the river with Feli keeping us all safe as we tackled each obstacle the river presented. It was a great day and I learnt so much, before I thought this sport would require a lot of strength but this is not the case. With implementing the techniques Feli taught us, we soon learnt that it is a gentle touch with the paddle or aligning the kayak correctly that gives the best results. And of course the Soca Valley is so beautiful, as I am sure you are aware. Top Day 💪
