Manhyia Palace Museum is the building the British built as a compensation to the Asantes when the Asantes King was returning from exile in Seychelles. The Asantes rejected the offer of the British and rather made payment to the British before using it as their palace. The museum has some things that the accumulated in the past centuries. Three Asante kings used the building as their palace before it was converted into a museum in 1996 by on Asante king called Otumfuo Opoku Ware ll
The King Prempeh ll Jubilee Museum houses some Asantes stuffs which they were using way back in the 16th centuries. The architectural design of the museum looks like a typical Asante palace. The museum houses some ancient Asante kings bath set up and kitchen set up and a mysterious bag the legendary priest of the Asantes made for them not open and many more.
Kejetia Market
The Kejetia Market is the biggest open-air market in the West Africa.The market has about eleven thousand stalls and about forty-four thousand people visit the market everyday.Most of the traders in the market are women.
