    Amazing. There were 5 of us, 2 from London who spoke a little Spanish and a family of 3 from Madrid who spoke some English. The tour itself was brilliant. Basil, our guide, took us all around the island, telling us lots about the island, life on the island, and the geology of the area. His knowledge is extensive, and he went out of his way to talk and answer any question, switching between Spanish and English in the same breath. My friend and i really enjoyed ourselves and made some friends along the way. Worth every penny.

    It was a beautiful experience to visit La Gomera by car, very comfortable and efficient. Our guide, Basso, was an excellent driver, an excellent guide, he talked to us about everything we saw, in real time, about flora and history of the island, about local flavors and traditions, about volcanoes and flowers, he stopped to show us everything important and interesting. It was a pleasure to admire the landscapes and to listen about the history of the island. The VIP tour felt exactly like VIP because of the confort of the car and our guide Basso. La Gomera is amazing.

    This was a great tour to a beautiful island. Ilke our tour guide was excellent and very informative. Everything was as described. My only suggestion would be to recommend bringing a jacket as the wind and mist makes it cooler at the higher elevations. We enjoyed it very much!

    Super day - so glad we didn’t drive ourselves - very difficult steep roads . Our tour guide was excellent and gave of himself the whole day . Johan was also an excellent driver . We visited places we would never have stopped at if we were on our own !

    Let us start with the bad bit; my booking was made with Viator who failed to mention the need in their myriad reminders , for UK nationals at least, to bring your passport. They also stated that the start time was 9:30 when that was actually the time the ship left the port. Fortunately we were early so I had 16 minutes to; get a taxi back to my hotel, find our passports and return to port to be the last but 2 on the ferry. My advice would be to book with Getholiday direct, something I plan to do next year for a trip to La Palma. That’s especially because this was a perfect and comfortable day out. Timings were good and explanations clear, particularly the impact of altitude on the biosphere. The small size of the group, 16 iirc, made for relaxed and trouble free stops. The lunch stop was a real opportunity to sample local food and enjoyable for that. It’s certainly not haute cuisine and one dish of anything is enough. La Gomera did the rest, breathtaking scenery and some harsh unforgiving history borne out in the landscape and natures reclamation of it. Packing so much beauty and variety into a small space reminded me of Skye and the Faroe Islands in a completely different climatic context in the North Atlantic. If you love either of those I am sure you will love this. I did not get the chance to thank Basso at the end of the day so will do here especially for his patience during my Los Christianos Grand Prix

If we do not receive any response, we will not provide the pick-up service and on the day of the excursion, you must be at Fred Olsen's office in the port of Los Cristianos at 9 am to meet the tour guide. If the reservation is made within 24 hours prior to the excursion, the pick-up service will not be provided, so on the day of the excursion you must be at Fred Olsen's office in the port of Los Cristianos at 9 a.m. to meet with the tour guide. If you do not present your identification document to board, no amount of money will be refunded. Pickups are only made in Tenerife South (from Callao Salvaje to Los Cristianos), if you require pickup outside this area they will have an additional cost.

    We will admire the area of the monument of the rocks, where the most emblematic is the Roque de Agando. A phonolitic python 1250 meters high that stands out for its size and shape.
