We were in CR for a week, did zip lining, private surfing lessons, private river boat tour and enjoyed amazing restaurants, but the La Leona Waterfall tour with Colorado Adventues (tell Bernie you want Ronnie for a tour guide, he's amazing) was my favorite. Honestly, it was a pain in the A$$ to drive there with all the traffic, but afterwards, I felt it was well worth it. Beautiful hike, great binding time with the family and I couldn't imagine it any better. If you're on the fence, definitely book this trip! Pura Vida!

This is an incredible company with amazing staff. They really made an impact on us and curated a customized experience that became the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica.

Every staff member was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and personable and really took time to really get to know our family.
Freddy - drove us to and from our resort in Playas del Coco. Extremely nice and genuine. We had great conversations and really appreciated his patience when we hit crazy traffic on the way home.
Ronnie - our adventure tour guide for the La Leonas waterfall hike. He taught us loads of interesting facts about the forest and knew every branch, stone, and turn on the trail to keep us safe. He was so attentive, and we could feel his passion for the outdoors. We all agreed that he was so fun, entertaining, and we loved spending our day with him. Easily the best guide we’ve ever had!
Bernie - went above and beyond to ensure we had the perfect day. First he had excellent communication and built a customized trip with exactly the activities we wanted. He even arranged for a cake to be served as a surprise to celebrate our parents’ anniversary! The gesture brought tears to our eyes, confirming how much they truly care.
We had a delicious lunch and ended the day with the Rio Negro hot springs to soak and relax after a very full day. A cachete! 😁

Where do I even begin. I took a sister trip to Costa Rica in June and when I tell you that Bernie and his team were amazing is an understatement. I was able to pre-book the excursions via WhatsApp prior to me arriving and he was always available despite the many questions I had. I also used his services for airport pickup and let me tell you it was the best decision ever. Once we arrived Freddy was waiting for us with a sign and immediately grabbed our bags and had the car waiting for us. Freddy was super helpful and professional.
Day 2 we went to the the Leona waterfall and it was just me and my sister and Freddy which it was great since we had a private tour...we walked through the river, climbed a few rocks, saw the most amazing waterfall, got in the hot springs, hot an amazing lunch and also did the mud bath and to top it off we saw monkeys as we were leaving. The day couldn't have gone better...it was also raining in Costa Rica when we went but Bernie was able to accommodate us and we didn't missed any part of the excursion. I would highly recommend Bernie if you are looking into going to Costa Rica...trust me you will not regret it.

Would have been 5 star but did not receive the pictures we paid for or a response when we tried to contact them
We had two guides that were fantastic. One guide took pictures along the hike. Not knowing to us the pictures were an extra cost to purchase. We unfortunately didn't have enough cash on hand to pay for the pictures but the photographer said not to worry and arranged a deal with us, which we greatly appreciated
When we received the pictures it was of another family. We only received 6-7 pictures of ourselves along the hike.
In all great hike, great guides but be sure to ask about the pictures and their cost. It was defiantly disappointing not to receive some of ourpictures

We just got back from Costa Rica and had an incredible hike to the La leona waterfall with Ronny and Enoc--those guys are incredible. The hike was great, the waterfall was beautiful and Ronny and Enoc's knowledge and passion of Costa Rican wildlife was incredible. DO NOT miss this tour. My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) loved this excursion.
