    Challenging but fun, beautiful ride! My husband and I are both big MTB riders, so we opted for the regular bike hire (not e-bikes). Wow, there was a lot of climbing (2200 ft, 670 m) and narrow switchbacks! We enjoyed the challenge and the gorgeous scenery but we were definitely tired by the end of the ride. We got snacks and beverages at the winery so that helped us finish the last 30 minutes or so. It was very warm (about 80° F, 27°C) so glad I brought extra water and snacks. Most people we encountered were in e-bikes so the hills were a bit easier for them!

    Kiwi Journeys were an excellent provider for our cycle of the Dunstan and Roxburgh Gorge trails. Their shuttle service is superb and they delivered exactly what they said they would- in style! We have cycled using 5 other providers on different rides and the e-bikes provided by cycle journeys were the best. They performed faultlessly and were very easy to ride. All in all we would unreservedly recommend Kiwi Journeys for anyone wanting to hire bikes to ride the Dunstan trail or Roxburgh Gorge from Cromwell or from Queenstown using their shuttle service. They’re good!

    Kiwi Journeys supplied good quality, well serviced cycles and transport to and from the start and end of our ride. The team also provided several ' local knowledge' tips from great places to eat to advice on how to negotiate the trail safely. Our experience of the Lake Dunstan Trail was enhanced by dealing with Kiwi Journeys.

    Rode the Dunstan Trail and Otago Rail Trail with Kiwi Journeys. Unbelievable ride with a totally professional company. Great service, friendly people and high quality bikes. The trip organised had us staying in amazing unique accommodations with every host being welcoming and friendly. Even lunch in tiny towns was sensational. Highly recommend this trip and travelling with Kiwi Journeys. Big thanks to Sandra, Gary and the amazing Danny 🤠✔️

    Can't fault our experience... from booking to when our bikes were collected from us. A wonderful company, value for money, good old fashioned friendly Kiwi service. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. We had a German friend with us and she was amazed at the service and friendliness. as for the bike ride...can't imagine anything more spectacular...world class all round. We will be back.
