    The guides were fantastic, took us on a game drive early in the morning, saw giraffes, zebras, a family of lions, and more. The main guy was an expert and gave lots of information on the animals. They also took us to the elephant orphanage after the game drive, the elephants were adorable. I must say though my favorite part of the day was the giraffe center, where they let you feed the giraffes! Our guide knew an expert at the giraffe center, and he gave us lots of guidance and made sure we all had good pictures and vidoes to show of us with the giraffes. Great day I would reccomend!

    Superb all round experience. The stop at the bead / leather shop and for lunch were not on the itinerary and at your own expense but there was no hard sell and you don’t have to buy lunch if you don’t want it ( but it would be good to say both are on the schedule)

    Highly recommend this tour if you're short on time in Nairobi but still want to get the safari experience! Booking was easy, just note there are several other costs not included that you have to pay through the trip, see below. Kevin was a very professional and knowledgable guide during the game drive and always made sure we got our photos and Hamman was a good driver. We saw hippos, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, guinea foul, lions, hartbeests, ostriches, thompson gazelles, impalas and some other things I can't remember. The baby elephant sanctuary was THE highlight - so cute. When you get there try to hurry to the "stage" area to get a standing spot near the rope, the elephants walk by and you can pet them! Giraffe sanctuary was also really fun. I would say besides the game drive, the guides are less 'guides' and more transporting you from place to place then you're on your own to walk around. In terms of additional cost: 1) You buy your own Nairobi park ticket, this they tell you in the trip description 2) During safari we made a bathroom stop near some animal skulls, went to look at them, a security guard told us what the skulls were for 30 seconds then asked several times for a tip. 3) I don't remember the bead factory being advertised but we went there, it was pretty but they take photos with you and give you trinkets so then you hang out in their store and feel obligated buy something 4) you do have to pay for your park ticket and bring money for lunch. The other important thing to note is its a VERY long day (we left at 545am and got back at 4pm) - could have skipped the bead factory, wish lunch was only 30min, and giraffe sanctuary could be done in 30 min) so be sure to get some rest the night before and bring snacks with you, they'll give you water - but for animal lovers its worth it!

    This trip is amazing and the activities are wonderful - absolutely don't miss any of the three of these. I would recommend doing this trip with this tour company with a few notes. The first is that the trip lasted much longer than advertised. This is not an issue if you plan accordingly but I expected to be back at 3pm and had made plans and so when I wasn't back until 7pm it was an issue - but if you plan for a 12hr day you will be fine! The tour guides were very personable and nice, knowledgeable, and worked to make sure my experience was good. I did have a major communication/organization issue that affected my trip - the guide who drove me around the park for the morning safari hadn't been told I was doing the elephants and giraffes as well. This resulted in us leaving the park and by the time I realized and talked to him it was 10:45. He hurried me back to the elephant nursery but by the time we got there and got in it was 11:30 and I had missed half of it. As this was the part I was most looking forward to so I was pretty bummed. He did everything he could to get me back as quickly as possible and I know that communication errors happen, but I would recommend confirming with your guide in the morning when you are picked up that you are doing this full trip. Overall I had a nice trip and the guides were great but those two scheduling/timing issues negatively affected my experience. I think both are fixable with a little proactive communication so I would still recommend this tour company and the trip - just with some purposeful communication in the beginning and you will be great!
